Production Process of HDPE Vacuum Outer Sheath:

HDPE Granule Screw Feeding → Hot Air Drying & Mixing → Extrusion & Plasticization → Molding → Vacuum Forming → Cooling → Traction & Pipe Drawing → Automatic Pipe Cutting → Unloading
Steel Pipe Surface Pretreatment → HDPE Outer Protective Pipe Production → Polyurethane Foam Insulation Layer Forming
The outer protective layer is made of High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) pipe sheath, the middle layer is filled with rigid polyurethane foam as the thermal insulation material, and the inner layer is a steel pipe.
The production steps are as follows:
Step 1: Insert the steel pipe into the HDPE outer protective pipe to form a shell structure. Install supports evenly in the annular space between the steel pipe and the HDPE outer protective pipe, and seal both ends with flanges.
Step 2: Hoist the shell onto the foaming platform, and use a high-pressure foaming machine to inject polyurethane foam material into the shell.
Step 3: After the polyurethane material foams and cures completely, remove the sealing structures from both ends.
Step 4: Complete the manufacturing process of the insulation layer.

The polyethylene insulation sheath pipe is also known as the outer protective pipe, sheath pipe, or pre-insulated polyethylene composite pipe with integral insulation. The polyurethane insulated pipe consists of an outer protective layer, a middle layer filled with rigid polyurethane foam as the insulation material, and an inner layer of steel pipe.
The polyethylene insulation sheath pipe boasts excellent mechanical and insulation properties. It can typically withstand high temperatures ranging from 120°C to 180°C and is suitable for insulating various cold and hot water pipelines, both high-temperature and low-temperature ones.
Single-Screw High-Efficiency Extruder
The screw adopts a new high-efficiency mixing structure, with 38CrMoALA quenched and nitrided alloy for extrusion. It is equipped with a water-cooled forced feeding system, and the motor and reducer are matched according to the pipe size, making it energy-saving and high-performance.

Spiral Casing Drilling Head
The unique spiral channel structure with a polished surface ensures uniform material feeding inside the mold, achieving optimal plasticization.
Simple and flexible mold adjustment: Switching between production cycles of pipes with different specifications allows for quick and precise parameter setting.

Vacuum Calibration Box
The pipeline is made of industrial-grade 304 stainless steel and equipped with a fully automatic closed-loop vacuum control system, which automatically adjusts the vacuum pump speed to maintain a constant vacuum level. The unique centralized structure of the inlet, outlet, and muffler reduces noise levels and extends the service life.

Vacuum Calibration Sleeve
The vacuum calibration sleeve can be made from: copper, stainless steel, or chrome-plated iron.
After the pipe is extruded from the die, its outer surface adheres to the inner wall of the calibration sleeve, thereby maintaining the precision of the pipe's outer diameter and shape.

Traction Unit
We have developed the crawler-type traction unit Model 2-18, with a traction stroke range of 16 to 2000 mm. Each traction arm is driven by an independent motor directly connected to a reducer. A digital controller ensures precise speed synchronization of each crawler carriage.
