HDPE Pre-Insulated Pipe Production Line

Brief Introduction:

Pre-insulated direct-buried pipe features a three-layer structure:

The inner layer is a working steel pipe for transporting media such as hot water, cold water, natural gas and steam.

The middle layer is a polyurethane foam insulation layer with excellent thermal insulation performance, which effectively reduces heat loss of the transported media.

The outer layer is a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) outer sheath pipe. It protects the internal insulation layer from erosion by soil, moisture and other external environmental factors, and keeps the pipe with a regular shape.

**Applications**: Widely used in buried pipeline projects including urban district heating, central air conditioning cooling, geothermal transmission, industrial thermal pipelines and gas transportation.

1. Single Screw Extruder

Specially designed screw of premium plasticization to achieve high output and high torque.

High quality electric components as Siemens motor,ABB inverter,Schneider/Siemens controller,Omron temperature controller or Siemens PLC control

2. Die Head

The extrusion die assembly consists of die body, lip ring, mandrel, spiral distributor and adjusting ring. All inner surfaces in contact with molten plastic are precision polished and hard chrome plated to ensure smooth melt flow and excellent corrosion resistance. The uniformity of finished pipe wall thickness can be precisely controlled by adjusting bolts.

3. Vacuum Sizing Water Tank&Sizing Sleeve

304 Stainless steel water tank and all water inlet and outlet adopts 304 stainless steel.

Adopts stainless steel sleeve,it ensures precise control of pipe dimension accuracy.

Equipped with a variable-frequency constant pressure control system to stabilize the pipe outer diameter

4. Multi-Claw Haul-off Unit

The pipe hauling machine is motor-driven to realize rapid and continuous conveying of pipes. To meet the requirements for pipes of different diameters and extrusion speeds, we have developed 2-18 claws haul-off machines with a traction range of 16mm–2000mm. Each traction arm is directly driven by an independent motor to ensure precise synchronization of the traction speed of each claw’s track 

5.Non-dust Cutter

The chipless planetary cutter is fitted with high-quality alloy steel blades. Adopting planetary cutting mode, it produces smooth pipe edges without plastic chips. It features high cutting precision and is controlled by PLC for stable operation.

Auxiliary Machines:

1.Pipe Inserting Platform:

The pipe inserting platform feeds steel pipe into PE jacket pipe and keeps it centered, providing a stable station for subsequent PU foaming.

2. Foaming Platform

There is two kinds of foaming platform,one needs brackets,another doesn’t need bracket.

Bracket type foaming platform:Equipped with front and rear mechanical support brackets. The steel pipe is supported and fixed by brackets at both ends.

Non-bracket type foaming platform: Without support brackets. The steel pipe is fixed by pipe moulds and positioning rings.

3. Foaming machine

The PU foaming machine accurately meters and mixes polyurethane A and B components, injects the mixture into the annular gap of the pipe assembly, and forms rigid polyurethane insulation foam through chemical foaming reaction.
