Brief Introduction:

The polyethylene wrapped sprayed polyurethane insulation pipe is consisted of three layers,inside layer is for steel pipe, middle layer is for polyurethane foam insulation layer,outside layer is wrapped polyethylene protective layer.The thickness of insulation layer and outer protective layer could be adjusted.

Machine Introduction:

1. The entire line can produce various specifications of straight pipes and ductile iron pipes.

2. The steel pipes on the line can be automatically derusted.

3. Double gun spraying provides better density uniformity, more stable thermal conductivity and lower water absorption.

4. The insulation layer and outer layer thickness can be custom-produced to meet the needs of different projects.

5. The winding production method improves the mechanical properties of the outer protective pipe.

6. It improves the closed-cell rate of the insulation layer, reduces the thermal conductivity of the insulation layer, and has low heat loss, so it has a better energy-saving effect.

7. Due to spraying molding, the surface roughness of polyurethane foam is higher, and the adhesion with the outer protective polyethylene sheet is stronger.

8. Under the premise of ensuring its performance, the polyethylene outer coating could achieve thinner thickness and better uniformity to save costs.

9. The circumferential winding process of polyethylene outer sheath makes its circumferential elongation, tensile strength and other mechanical properties significantly improve.

1. Shot blasting machine

Function:

Shot blasting machine: Surface treatment equipment, which uses high-speed shots to impact workpiece surface for rust removal, scale removing, sand cleaning, surface strengthening and burr removing

2. Medium-frequency induction heating furnace

Function:

Medium-frequency heating preheats steel pipe before PU spraying, removes moisture on pipe surface, ensures stable temperature for PU foaming. Improve bonding strength between foam and steel pipe, reduce bubble & delamination defects, intelligent temperature control for continuous production.

3. Spray Polyurethane Foam Unit

Function:

The PU spraying unit uses highpressure impingement atomization spraying. The steel pipe rotates while moving forward. With medium-frequency preheating, polyurethane material foams on the pipe surface to build the insulation layer. Accurate material dosing guarantees even layer thickness and strong adhesion. It supports continuous production of large-size insulation pipes and reduces defective products.

4. Extruding&Winding unit

Function:

PE extrusion and winding unit melts HDPE and extrudes it into continuous sheets. The sheets are spirally wound to cover the outer side of PU insulation layer, and cooled and shaped by on-line water cooling to form a sealed PE outer protective layer. Linked with the whole production line, the system automatically matches the production speed. It ensures uniform overlap of the outer sheath, provides waterproof and anti-corrosion performance to protect the PU insulation layer, and suits continuous production of large-caliber direct-buried pre-insulated pipes.

5.Trim The End Of The Pipe

Function:

After PE extrusion, winding and water cooling, need to cut off excess PE sheath and PU foam at both ends of the pipe. It leaves exposed steel pipe sections for welding. The cut ends are flat and perpendicular to the pipe axis, easy for on-site pipe connection and waterproof cap installation. PLC linked for largecaliber directburied preinsulated pipe production.
