3PE Anticorrosive Pipe Production Line

The 3PE pipe production line is a continuous manufacturing system that performs processes including shot blasting (derusting), medium-frequency heating, fusion-bonded epoxy (FBE) coating, adhesive (AD) wrapping, polyethylene (PE) wrapping, water cooling and shaping, as well as end facing and external surface grinding of steel pipes—resulting in high-quality 3PE anticorrosive pipes. This process is widely used in pipelines for water supply, natural gas, oil, and other media.

The 3PE anticorrosive steel pipe production line continuously processes the outer surface of steel pipes through shot blasting, medium-frequency heating, fusion-bonded epoxy (FBE) powder coating, adhesive (AD) wrapping, polyethylene (PE) 6wrapping, water cooling and shaping, as well as pipe end polishing—producing high-quality 3PE anticorrosive steel pipes. This process is widely used in pipelines for transporting tap water, natural gas, and oil.




The dies are opened and closed by an electric drive, with angles adjusted uniformly.

Smooth one-piece forged dies (485 mm), equipped with independent power drives.

The lower frame of the conveying line is made of square steel tubes with a 200*100 mm cross-section and features a V-shaped design, ensuring smooth and reliable conveyance.



Preliminary Treatment of Steel Pipes: Shot Blasting Derusting

The surface of the steel pipe is treated by shot blasting to remove scale, rust, and other surface contaminants, achieving the required cleanliness and roughness.




Medium-Frequency Heating

The medium-frequency heating system is mainly used to heat the steel pipe to 180–230 °C, achieving the temperature required for epoxy powder spraying.




Epoxy Powder Coating

Epoxy powder is uniformly applied to the surface of the preheated steel pipe using electrostatic spraying equipment, forming a layer of epoxy powder coating.




Extrusion System

Adhesive is extruded through an extruder and uniformly applied to the epoxy powder coating.

Polyethylene material is extruded via an extruder to form an outer polyethylene protective layer, and the PE layer can be thermally insulated by the epoxy powder coating.




Groove Processing

The finished 3PE anticorrosive steel pipe ends feature beveled edges.





Finally, high-quality 3PE anticorrosive steel pipes are produced.




Production Process of the 3PE Anticorrosive Steel Pipe Production Line:

1.Preliminary Treatment of Steel Pipes

Shot blasting removes rust from the steel pipe surface, eliminating scale, rust, and other contaminants to achieve the required cleanliness and roughness.

2.Medium-Frequency Heating

Heats the steel pipe to the temperature required for epoxy powder application.

3.Epoxy Powder Spraying

Uniformly sprays epoxy powder onto the preheated steel pipe surface via electrostatic spraying, forming an epoxy powder layer.

4.Adhesive Extrusion

Extrudes adhesive through an extruder and uniformly applies it to the epoxy powder coating.

5.Polyethylene Extrusion

Similarly extrudes polyethylene through an extruder to form an outer polyethylene protective layer.

6.Water Cooling

Cools the steel pipe with the anticorrosive coating using water to facilitate rapid curing and shaping of the coating.

7.Bevel Processing

Machines the bevel on the finished 3PE anticorrosive steel pipe ends.
